New Pictures and my V-day gift

First is a picture of Daisy with how big she has gotten.

Man my girl's gotten big.

Next my V-Day gift from hubby.

I had actually wanted this four years ago, the first time I ever laid eyes on it. He decided I was getting it for Valentine's Day.

This is the '09 Model Of The Traxxas Stampede. I wanted the red body but all they had was a display so I had to get the blue. It's a 1-10th Scale Monster Truck. Has Waterproof Electronics in it. Good thing, means I can play in the mud, rain and water. Just can't submurge it all the way.

Side Shot of the Stampede.

Over head shot. Man Oh man could I have some fun at Mt. Mydoriama with this one. I am thinking about making some of the first stage obsticales ( in mini format for the truck on our dirttrack we are building.)

Inside of the truck. Yeah I know something is missing but it's the battery which I remove when I am not playing with it. The battery is pictured below.

This is a picture of the rear end, the motor. My truck goes 35 MPH.. Yeah, I can get two to three feet of air off our jump in the backyard.

The remote. I like it, it's small and easy to use.

The battery. We went with a Venom 3000 7.2 Voltage, just for longer running time.
Patrick said Traxxas would have been proud of me on Saturday. The truck will be modified later on with Aluminum parts and upgraded to a brushless motor for more speed. The parts for these RC's are fairly cheep. The most expensive thing (now) is going to be the brushless motor which will run over 100.00 when and if I choose to do it. I doubt I will. I'm going to change out my tires to skull and crossbones and I am going to get me a clear body and paint it in honor of Sasuke. Might have to cheat and print out the vynal part for the name.

The truck cost 149.99 before we got the battery, which we had to buy seperate, as is the norm.

Other than that..

Havent' hear back from the job yet. Oh and Mother Nature decided to visit me on V-Day. I think I have an ear infection but nothing majorly wrong there. Still playing Dragon Cave, still taking care of myself, Patrick and Daisy, and yes, Matt is still here.

Hope everyone is well and safe.

I'm alive...sorta

I'm alive but down with a cold again. Daisy decided she wanted to play in the rain and make me chase her so yeah, not feeling so well. Nose is all stuffy and chest is all hurty.

I haven't been online that much because I am trying to distance myself from the computer. It's not anything particular but I really do get upset whenever people "my internet pests" won't leave me alone.

Over the past few days I have been trying to do research online so that me and Patrick can get financed to purchase this place but low and behold, I can't. I go invisable and she still pm's me and pesters me.

I was rude to her but the girl wouldn't leave me alone. I wasn't too rude but I did tell her when she messaged me that I didn't have time nor the patience to talk with her and she still kept on. Even blocking her doesn't do any good. I had to get on extra early tonight just to be able to update this blog because I don't remember when the last time was I did.

Daisy is still good, hyper but good. Patrick is working long hours but the plus is on March 1st he goes back to third shift.

Plus news for me..

I got a call back for an intereview on Friday to a place I applied. I am extra happy and extra excited. But I forgot my refrences on the application but she said I could fill them out on Friday. Wish me luck.

I'm going to go curl up under my blankets now. I just hope to be better by Friday.

So yeah everyone, I am alive just lurking. Hope everyone is well.

My new tattoo...

Not really but I have a tattoo I got done last night. So now we shall do this...

This is the old one..

As you can tell, it isn't finished, not at all. The woman didn't close the tattoo as you can see the stencil marks. It's like she just tattooed within the outline. I didn't really notice that it wasn't fully finished for a few days, until it healed. It honestly doesn't look like a panther, more like a griffin. Even the name was messed up, she redid the lines a few time and on the head, there is a full line that wasn't supposed to be there.

This is the new one..
The picture is mirror imaged. This took a little over an hour to do. If you didn't know I had a tattoo before, you wouldn't know there was one there. The blending is perfect and yes, this tattoo isn't even 24 hours old so it does look rough. He blended the whiskers on the right into the wings on the last one. The white spot was from the gauze I used to blot the leaking ink. Yeah, I have leakage due to the extra ink and the antibiotic ointment. He freehanded all the details, the only thing he used to go by on my skin was the actual head. We had the laptop sitting on the kitchen table and he followed the other one I saw. Which, here is the original that he went from.

He had to improvise certain areas. Also, I believe this is a copy written tattoo from Japan. Yes, the original artist is from Japan. There wasn't a huge improvision but it was more to do with the original and covering it up.

When hubby takes more pics later on this week when it heals more, I will post them.

I am happy because it was very close to what the original picture was. He is so talented to have been able to freehand all the details.

Update since I know people are worried.

With the cold front moving through Florida, ( It's currently 47 degrees) I ended up getting sick again. My throat burns and my chest is all congesty. My feet and hands are constantly cold. Someone sure lied when they said Florida was the sunshine state.

I will say though, I was bawling last night. Mother in law gave us this three shelf glass stand (It only had 2 shelves because one broke).

I have this tea set (Bunny would love it, it has Bunnies all over it, has little tea cups, the saucers for them, little spoons, napkin holders, the tea pot, the cream pitcher and sugar dish) that Patrick got me a few years back. Said set has been through four owners. First Mother in laws friend, then mother in law, then sister in law, then me. She had it in a yard sale so Hubby got it for me. One of the first nice things he got me, in other words, the thing was so old, the box was really faded.

When we lived in the apartment, I never put it out. When we moved here, I took it out of the box and then set it up on the kitchen counter. Once Brother in law moved in, I moved it again due to his microwave.

So I had my tea set displayed on the glass stand. I understand dogs will be dogs but Spaz ( the brother in laws pitt bull, has been really going after Daisy the past few weeks) lives up to her name.

My baby was on the loveseat sleeping soundly, when Spaz ran in and bit at her, waking Daisy. Now she's just like her Momma, mad as a wet hornet when she is woke up. Daisy snapped at Spaz and laid back down to sleep. I told Spaz five or six times to stop and lay down.

I had just adverted my attention for a second when Spaz started bouncing around again..All I heard was Thump, Thump, Crash and a shatter.

She ran into the stand and bumped it enough for the top shelf to slip off it's holding and crash onto the second shelf, which in turn broke in half ( at a diagonal angle) and landed on top of my tea set.

There is only six or seven peices that survived the crash. The entire set as well as one of my shelves are gone. I still get teary eyed when I think about it. That was the first nice thing my husband really got for me and I held onto it for years. I looked online before and that set can't be found anywhere.

While I am upset, I would have been irate if it had been the glass unicorns and horses my dad got for me before he died and I recieved them for that Christmas.

I can't believe it's gone. I know it's just material but still. For once Daisy didn't do anything to Spaz to warrent that behavior. Yeah I know he was supposed to be gone on the first but he is still here. I knew hubby wouldn't kick him out.

Other than that, still raising dragons and still trying to stay warm. I need to update my dragons on my blog but I am so tired. I haven't been doing much online. Now if I could just find Akiyama-san's address I would be set.

I am off to sleep now. This Theraflu is kicking in quick. Hopefully I won't be down for long with this but knowing how hard it is for me to get better, I foresee me being cramped in bed this weekend, which bites because we were going to take Daisy to Petco to be spoiled.

New Years Resolution Thingy

Yep..It's time.

Today as of 2 pm.. I am putting down my cigareetes for good. No more smoking.

I was thinking and remembered that for the past year I have let my father down. I promised him the last time I talked to him before he passed, I would quit. I still haven't full filled that promise.

So today, I am doing so.

I'm going to need super support. But this place will be clean by the time Patrick gets home. We are talking super cleaning. Even if I have to leave Daisy over at Josh's for a while or in the living room, it's gonna get done. So if anyone calls, I'm sorry for them. I won't be answering.

So from what I heard, rumor wise, I can't use the All Stars as inspiration, They all smoke. As I said Rumor... well except for Nagano and Takeda, that was proven that they do. I'm going to use my dad as my inspiration..

*starts to fan her nose* Daisy just farted again. Man does it stink.;........:(

Just because I can

A preview of the Christmas Dragon egg.

Ain't it cute?

This is last years dragon..

I wonder if this one will be diffrent. I even saw some as reighdeer..I wonder if that was real.

Christmas Time and update.

Christmas today was an O K day. While I didn't go to bed till 3:30 am this morning, it was still fine.

I got to open the box but I didn't post what was in it yet. Now I can.

Aunt Brenda and Uncle T sent me some flavored coffee. I have Carmel Truffle, Vanilla Nut Creme, Regular and then Folger's Hazelnut coffee. They also sent me $100.00.

I took the money I had and tried to figure out what to get Patrick for Christmas. He finally told me what he wanted on the way home. We went in half on each other's gifts.

For Him..

A half a dump truck load of red clay sand.

It is for his RC track that we are working on so I got that for him and we worked on the track yesterday. I also treated him to lunch ( he wanted Burger King).

For me

My gift is two front tires for my car.

Daisy though..

I got her the first ever Christmas Ornament that had treats inside it. It was either an orange or a yellow. I got the yellow because I don't do orange.

I found her this cutest coat ( seeing she has short hair) It was camoflage on the inside (soft) and it had a camo star on it that says Rebel. However, it has to be returned.

The jacket only goes half way down her back. It's too small. *cries* It is so cute.

Oh well, it was the thought that counted.

Now while other's are having a white Christmas...we are having a wet Christmas. It has been sprinkling and raining all day. My throat is all scratchy from it.

Yesterday my Brother in laws Pit got in a fight with the neighbors dog Hennesy. Both dogs were injured, not bad mind ya but Spaz's left front leg has bite wounds and she has one on her upper shoulder.

Hennesy also got injured. She has a bite wound on the back of her neck and her ear.

Both dogs are limping today. Spaz however bled all over my kitchen floor last night so I had to clean it up. Daisy is all depressed because she can't play with either one due to them being injured.

The cops weren't called and no fighting words were exchanged. No charges were pressed, even though Hennesy was in the wrong for coming out of her yard but then again, we don't know what was going on in her mind. We guessed it was a misunderstanding with Hennesy, who thought Spaz was attacking Matt. She's overprotective anyways.

The Dragon Cave had a Limited Edition Christmas Dragon drop. Your only allowed to have two. I have two. But I am not putting them up until my scroll clears out. I am locked down with the most amount of hatchlings I can have at once. I have them held on another scroll ( Patricks) right now until I can get them over to my own. I really have seven days to do so, so hopefully I can do it.

The house smells like the Carmel coffee. I'm sorta cold due to the rain. My nephew Kutter is over here so he's asking questions every ten seconds. Patrick is supposed to go out tonight so I am not complaining.

I also watched the Monster Jam marathon today. I was sad not to see Scarlet Bandit run. I have only seen her run once this year. I wonder what happened to her.

Hope everyone has had or is having a great Christmas.

So Happy Christmas to all.
