Stuff

Right so stuff going on...

Daisy is getting better. Now her cough is totally dry which is awesome in it's own. It means we might nip this in the bud quick. She's getting bigger each day and thinks that Kibble and Bits Chewy are treats. She still can't figure out why she is getting a bowl full of treats for her meals.

I won a contest for a DVD. I actually had entered to win a wall scroll but didn't win that. The DVD was an consulation prize. Sad thing is.. I Have never heard of the Anime. Guess I will learn something new.

With me..

I am all stuffed up and have crap running down my throat. To top that off, I am having issues with my monthly. I have a single day of spotting and then nothing for another two weeks and then spotting again for a day. It's not only making me mad, it's aggrevating.

Other than that, nothing much is going on. It's been ubber cold here in Florida. I mean really cold. I just want to stay curled up somewhere but Daisy needs caring for so I struggle through.

And now a note..

To everyone who hits me up to use my computer and printer..

There are other family friends that live around me..one two houses down to the left and one two houses down to the right. STOP vollenteering me to do jobs for people. STOP sending people to use my internet and my printer just because I have them. This every day that someone is coming around or calling to have me print something out for them is getting old.

Also, Rose... I have told you time and time again that there is no use to devirus your computer because you wont go and upgrade to more memory and more harddrive space. YOUR computer runs off of 4G harddrive space. That's not enough to do anything.

The virus that you have, it's NOT A VIRUS!!! It's called not enough room or memory on your computer.

Do not come to me and ask me to devirus your computer and remove your son's profile. Then when I try to suggest what to do, DON"T tell me I don't know about computers.

My dog is sick, I am sick. DO NOT ask me to come down to your house to fix your computer yet again. I told you that there was no reason to try to fix it until you either upgraded to a new computer or got more harddrive and memory. DO NOT expect me to drop my life and come down for four hours to try to fix something that can't be fixed. I suggested you to reformat your system but you don't want to do that so I am sorry but your computer can't be fixed. I explained this to you six months ago and the answer is the same. You tell me you can't afford a new computer or to upgrade but yet you go and spend almost 700.00 for a purebred dog and then expect me to help you train it.

I have my own puppy, thank you very much. She is my daughter, my baby and she comes first. Don't tell me to leave her home while I come down to fix your computer. She is sick and needs to be watched. NO computer is worth me trying to fix and well, I hate to tell you, where I go she goes and with her having "Kennel Cough" I am not bringing her around your blood thirsty dogs and have her attacked. You refuse to pay me for working on your computer. The first time I fixed it, you were supposed to pay and you didn't and still haven't.

No LOVE ME!!!!!!

Now I got that off my chest.. Now I need to try to get hubby up for work. It's 12:21 and he usually leaves at one. I have no idea what I am going to eat today. There's no food here.

Bad week

I have been so stressed and now dealing with Alyssa ( she's only 8) being diagnosed with Eplepic Seziers ( can't spell) it's just piling the stress on even more.

Patrick's back has been hurting again and it looks like his shingles are returning. That stresses me out even more. I love my husband but when he gets these shingles outbreaks, he becomes very untolerable. Nothing I do is right during these times.

Daisy's cough has gotten worse. Now she is hacking like she is trying to get something out of her throat. Honestly I hope it's just the kennel cough trying to leave and not heartworms. I couldn't stand to loose her so soon. I just feel so useless when it comes to her now because I don't know how to treat it. At least she only has till Friday till the vet comes out.

On top of her cough, I discover today she has tapeworms. It just keeps getting worse with her.

As for me..

For the first time in a long time, my manic depression is flaring up. Not to the point of suicidal thoughts but it is flaring. I know it's coming and I have been trying to cut it off but it's still sneaking. I tried calling some friends but none of them are home or around for me to talk to.

I am trying to be an adult about this and not call people crying about my feelings. I am not on medication, and I don't have a therepist for this. I've lived with it for the past 12 years ( 10 of those without meds) but there are times it just sneaks up.

Right now is one of those times.

I love Patrick but I know we are going to be fighting sometime soon. It's not him, it's me. I am getting to the point where I don't want to be bothered and want to be left alone but I know he will come and try to talk to me about it which will cause me to explode. I honestly hate feeling like this but the people down here said nothing is wrong with me and I don't need help. I can't get meds because they don't do no good, they don't even me out or nothing, it's just like I am not taking anything.

I just don't know.

I still have the kitchen floor to mop and the dishes to do. And honestly, I don't want to do them.

I went into overprotective parent mode yesterday, almost got arrested

Yeah so everyone by now knows about Daisy, my newest girl. Yesterday afternoon, I almost got arrested.

See, my brother in law Matt has this Pit Bull female Azeral.. or Spaz for short. Almost every single time he comes out to his parents, he brings that dog. Spaz is full grown, over three years old. Now understand, Florida does have a leash and collar law. Mother in laws house isn't fenced in and neither is ours.

Now I can understand why everyone ( well almost everyone) hates the breed.

We had Daisy out yesterday so she could see Hennesy. Josh and Tammy ( our neighbors and Hennesy's owners) were outside BBQ so the two were playing on seperate sides of the fence. Hennesy on her's, Daisy on ours.

Now I am all paranoid anyways over Daisy.. She never goes outside unless one of us ( me or Patrick) is with her. So with that said

Someone let Spaz out of the inlaws and here this dog goes sneaking. Usually Josh has his gate open because Hennesy is trained not to go out the opened gate. ( Great Training Josh, he must tell me how he did it) So yeah, Josh's gate was closed and I happen to look up to see Spaz had gotten into Josh's yard. ( We're guessing she went under the gate). Josh had to chase his own dog off to another part of it's OWN yard until Patrick got Spaz over the fence and out of the yard. And yes, Hennesy and Spaz had gotten into fights before. And no it wasn't Hennesy's fault, Spaz went into her yard.

So I have to go back inside for something and Patrick had ran Spaz back over to the in laws. He came back and then Dasiy was with her Daddy so she could use the bathroom before she came in and also to see Hennesy.

I wasn't inside no longer than a minute whenever I hear Hennesy raising cane, and Daisy yelping and crying. I run out the door and there is Patrick trying to pull Spaz off of Daisy. He got Daisy loose and she started running towards me and I be darned if Spaz didn't come up on the porch and attack her again.

Yes, my daughter was attacked, in her own yard, on her own porch by a dog that didn't belong and wasn't on a leash or have a collar.

I was very angry. Boy was I ever.. I told Patrick if he didn't get that freaking ( not the word I used) dog back over to her owner, I was getting the riffle and killing it. Every time Daisy would move to run into the house, Spaz would attack her again.

The minute I yelled that, here comes Patrick's brother Matt (Spaz's owner) running over. And where was he during all of this? Standing on the mother in laws porch watching and LAUGHING!!

He told me if I killed or shot at his dog, he was going to kick my ass and kill my dog..

Yep, I lost it. I am so not going to put what I said here because well, it's not lady like.

Someone knew I was mad and next thing you know, here's the freaking cops.

Long story short, The cops said that if the dog continuously attacked my dog in it's own yard, I had the right to take action. Reason they said that, Josh spoke up and said that Matt was standing on the porch across the road, laughing the entire time my dog was running for it's life. He didn't even make a move to stop her until I threatened to kill the dog.

The cops did state that even though that Matt said the dog was vaccinated..he was breaking the law by not having a leash or collar on the dog. When he said he refused to do so, the cops said that if the dog was caught out again without a collar or leash, she would be taken to the pound. And they also told Matt that if my dog had been injured, I had the right to press charges and the dog would have been taken to the pound. Another cop said it was bull that Matt allowed a full grown dog to attack a small puppy and not take steps to stop the dog.

By some miracle, Daisy wasn't hurt. Heck, she was hurt worse by Hennesy the first time they met but still, she was in her yard, on her porch and I wasn't allowed to say nothing about it? I don't care if the inlaws are angry at me.. She is my baby and I am going to do everything to protect her.

Second thing..

If my sister in law doesn't quit calling my dog, trying to get her to listen to her, I am going to snap on her. What part of Daisy is mine, doesn't she understand???? I don't want my dog to take orders from no one but me and Patrick. I don't care if Jake wants to see her, we are in the process of training her not to leave the yard. She has only been here three days, do not stand in your yard, across a busy road and call my girl. If she runs out and gets hit.. It won't be pretty.

No love, your sister in law

Now, I must go do laundry while Miss Daisy is occupied.. Was I in the wrong to react like I did?

Pictures of our new daughter

We actually got her before we thought. She was supposed to be gotten on Sunday the 12th but seeing her previous owner David had to work today, she came home with us on Saturday the 11th. But this is my new daughter Daisy Hitt.

She says Mommy, I'm tired.

Daddy clued her into the camera.

She is definately her father's daughter. Here she
is watching the Gator and LSU Game.

Still waiting for it......

Still watching TV and that stupid game.

Dangit Mom, stop taking pictures. Daddy is trying
to adjust her collar here.

Yes as you see, Daisy took over my couch.
Not her Daddy's but Mine.
Ain't had her 24 hours yet and she's already a
Gator Fan.

So yeah, our next door neighbor who has Hennesy, suggested we name her Daisy. Well first she said Bacarddi so we could have Bacarddi and Hennesy. When I said I don't think we're naming our girl after liquor, she smiled and said, Well, name her Daisy. It's my favorite flower and also from Daisy Duke.

We weren't going to name her Daisy but when we got back home and said it, she responded to Daisy. So Daisy it is.

When we intoduced her and Hennesy, Hennesy being the oldest, snapped at Daisy because she was all up in Hennesy's face. After Josh scolded Hennesy for snapping at Daisy ( we introduced them through the fence first) Hennesy was fine after about five minutes and was trying to get Daisy to play.

So off we went to take Daisy to inside the gate. The two went crazy, running and playing. Poor Daisy was so tired after that and Hennesy didn't growl or bite at her again. So now we know it's safe for the two to be around each other. Next order of business, Bruster the Boxer from down the street. He plays in Hennesy's yard sometimes also but he's good with puppies so that shouldn't be an issue. If he hurts my girl, his owners are going to get a large chunk of my mind.

So thats the reason I haven't been on. Hubby went crazy at Wal-Mart. Miss Daisy now has a Gator football, a gator pillow, and a gator tennis ball, (all chew toys).. She has two gator feed dishes, one for water and one for food.

Her collar is camo...I kid you not..Her collar and leash are camo.. No pink EVER for this dog, hubby says.

But our girl is supposed to be my girl. But yet I can't dress her how I want in pink? Nope, gonna be a non pink girl dog. I am not pleased.

She's been micro-chipped already and spayed so that's great. She's up to date on her shots, all but one and we are going to get that soon. She's great with a leash and already refuses to walk off our porch without one. She's almost house broken..only two small accidents last night. ( once when we got her home and then once when we took her into the bedroom) We didn't even bother with a kennel. And now she is laying on my couch, I have to take her out soon to go to the bathroom before I can lay back down. She didn't whine or go on so yeah, Miss Daisy is a great welcome to our family..

However, she snores.....

I will get more pictures today of her.
